Guildcraft Carpets has been a Goodweave manufacturer from our first day of business. In addition to its original mission to fight child labor, GoodWeave is working toward improving general labor conditions and increasing environmental responsibility in the countries in which it operates. GoodWeave is the only voluntary licensing program which uses independent verification to ensure its standards are met. 

A percentage of every carpet we produce helps GoodWeave assist children and families through rehabilitation, daycare, literacy, formal schooling and vocational training. 

GoodWeave is a nonprofit organization founded in 1994 by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi, and is the leading global institution with a mission to end child labor, and forced and bonded labor, in global supply chains through a market-based holistic and authentic system. GoodWeave brings visibility to global supply chains, gives voice to informal and marginalized workers, provides assurance that certified products are free of child labor, and restores childhood to vulnerable children so they can laugh, learn, and play.
